V-CORR

Technology constantly evolves and applications progress. We’ve coined the acronym “V-CORR” to define and broaden the definition of our involvement with video-cameras and recording hardware and software applications.

V-CORR stands for “Video-Cam Observation, Recording, and Review“. The new acronym allows us to think outside the box of traditional closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems. Video camera technology has progressed from the low-resolution analog cameras, historically used in commercial and security applications, to today’s very high-resolution digital cameras being used and watched anywhere in the world over the internet. These applications grow ever more diverse and no longer can be contained by acronyms like “CCTV/Security” or “Video Surveillance” or even “Network/IP Security”.

Even though most existing CCTV or legacy systems still deploy analog-camera technology, they are fast becoming analog-digital-hybrid systems or pure-digital systems. Modern products promise to deliver superb HD picture quality, advanced features, flexibility and scalability. Nevertheless, realizing these promises and getting high-value returns while keeping life-cycle costs low remains challenging.

Furthermore, the world of the security-system professional now must interface with the world of the information-technology (IT) professional as does the world of the non-professional user and consumer. IT is very complex and not easily mastered. IT resources and infrastructure present a wild mix of opportunities/threats and strengths/weaknesses that need to be considered and managed before any new deployment.

There are many choices. Too many choices results in decision paralysis. That’s where we bring value and save money for our clients. We provide technical services and construction capabilities involving equipment, software, materials, and expertise that are important collaborating inputs to the clients’ enterprise, labor skills, and efforts.

Abraham Lincoln said, “Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.”

We are constantly sharpening our axes! Making choices (chopping) is easier and faster when you work with us (the sharp axes). We know you’re busy. Let’s work together, then enjoy the results.
